IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist
This program, based on the J-STD-001 document, introduces the basic knowledge needed for entry-level opportunities in the electronics manufacturing industry.
This course provides an introduction to basic electronic assembly including mechanical assembly, safety & ESD, component identification, common industry terms and definitions and basic hand soldering skills development. Course is 10 percent lecture, 90 percent hands-on lab exercises using industry standard tools and materials.
Upon successful completion of the course students will receive a PLS Certificate of Achievement.
Admissions Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of ages, and be able to read, write and speak English.
